My beautiful boy Milo went to the bridge this weekend. He passed away early Sunday morning. He was a very special boy and will be deeply missed. We were so blessed to have him in our lives. Our pets are a big part of our lives.
They are so easy to love, so hard to loose.

I remember the many times she made me laugh and remember what was really important. I told her how beautiful she was and how I never got over that in all the years I looked at that little face. It would take my breath away sometimes. Throughout our last hours together, I talked to Mia and kissed her again and again and again, calling her all of her special names like "baby girl", "monkey moo", "Mia Pia", "pooba loo", "moomie", "Mia Pia Pie", "sweetie pea", "moomah", "kitty girl", "honey bun", "kitty witty", "special girl", "Mia mira" (short for miracle), "Mia Sparrow", "girlie girl", and others. My heart shattered as I uttered those names to her for the very last time.

The whole process was peaceful, she showed no signs of distress as she lay on me and slipped away. I'm so grateful our hearts were as close as they could be while still inside each of our bodies.
Yes, I know, it will get easier over time. Yet, I'll never stop missing her. She is a part of me forever. -- Sheila B.
