Rudy

Miss our dear Rudy terribly ...

We were honored to rescue him in December 2002 from Oregon Dachshund Rescue and gave him a wonderful home. He loved going on vacations and seeing so many sights, but best of all he liked being with Mom and Dad and cuddling at night. We will miss our dear Rudy terribly and are just grateful we were the ones selected by The Universe to give him a wonderful life.

Rosie

My forever foster ...

Rosie came to me (into rescue) from a shelter, I was her foster mom. It didn't take us long to fall in love with her. She was so cute and sweet. I will never forget one time while talking to Annette and Rosie ? I asked Rosie if she was glad that we decided to adopt her. She said can't you tell?? LOL. Rosie had a big personality. She loved to sit on her dad's lap and talk him into taking a nap with her. She totally loved socks, especially dirty socks. She would protect them and not let anyone come near them. She always had us laughing. She also had a habit of sticking her cold nose in my face about 5 a.m. If that didn't wake me she would gently use her little paw. She didn't need anything just wanted some affection. Little stinker. Rosie ended up very sick and was at the ER vet the last five days of her life. Ended up she had lymphoma. We really didn't expect that news. We decided to not let her suffer anymore and helped her to the bridge. She got her wings on 11/6/2012. We miss her dearly! Our house is not the same without her. Thanks Rosie for a wonderful life with us. -- Michele
