Splash

You're not going to believe this! I FOUND SPLASH!! I went for my nightly walk (I just got in now) with Olivia for 20 minutes, and felt so heavy hearted because I saw absolutely no sign of him.
Then, I brought Pepper for a walk and retraced the same route walking her up and down the long blocks and said to myself, I might as well try one more time, to walk in front of the ramshackle house where I found Splash. I saw this white and dark cat in the blackness. It just scurried under a car, very scared. I tied Pepper to a fence and slowly went closer and kept calling this kitty with my high voice.

I was shocked that it slowly made itself visible, then hid again, then heard my voice again and came out from under, more and more and then quietly, and slowly came close to me and allowed me to pick him up. I was so stunned. I picked him up, held a firm hugged grip and walked so fast back to my house.....and quickly brought him inside.
CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH! I think it helped when you told him to hang out in the front. He was in the gutter looking for food. He was sooo hungry!!
So grateful! Thank you Annette....I feel like it's some kind of miracle, because I was about to lose hope and was so tired tonight.

Sammy

This is Sammy. He disappeared from his yard with his brother, Jo, on March 2. After putting up numerous notices about their disappearance and running an ad in the paper and announcements on the radio, Jo showed up via a neighbor grabbing him. Sammy, fearful of others, ran off and wasn't seen again. He mysteriously reappeared home on March 5, fat and happy. We believe he was taken in and then released when whoever had him felt guilty about keeping him.
I am sending this for Sue Solberg whose computer is down and can't connect with you. If you have anything to say to her, you can respond to this e-mail and I will let her know. Thanks.

P.S. My daughter Kirsten gave me your name and website as a former girlfriend of hers, Tanya, contacted you in finding her cat. Buka was found by following your advice and directions .... so you have two very firm believers. Thanks again.
Sammy disappeared for 3 days. We determined someone had taken her dog. We knew the area and I told Sue to make a lot of flyers and plaster them all around. Then I ask Sammy IF, he knew how to get home and if he could leave, but if he can but he must stay safe. When Sue came home from work Wed (yesterday) Sammy came running around the corner to greet her. He looked perfect, not a mark on him.

Cowboy

We just wanted to let you know that we found Cowboy last night. We received a call from a neighbor's daughter - Cowboy was several miles and several major roads away. At first we didn't really think it would be him. When we arrived Cowboy was running scared and it took us an hour of tracking his prints in the fresh snow before he realized it was us.
As soon as he recognized us, he came gimping over with joy.
We took him straight to the vet - overall, they couldn't believe what great shape he was in. He had frostnipped paws & eyes, a small cut on one of his pads, and he had lost seven pounds.
We know he was in the woods near the subdivision by our house on Saturday because we found fresh tracks that were definitely his (he leaves a distinct pattern in fresh snow because of his feathers). We don't know when he crossed over M24 and the other roads.
Thank you for all of your help. Your information let us know that he was alive and nearby which gave us hope to continue searching.
Our home is complete again and everyone is grateful for all of the help that we received.
